Hi lovely person,

You chose to “follow” me on this website years ago and I thank you. I am now done, officially retired from teaching and performing, and it seems like a good time to let this lovely site go. As you can see, the last post I made was 5 years ago.

I’ve been looking through the site, noting which video clips I want to save, and it’s been really fun. I’ll endeavor to put the good ones on YouTube.

Of late, most of the inquiries on this website have been high school classmates from Oakland who wanted to connect. They can find me other ways now. But just this past week, I heard from a conductor of a community choir in DC, who wondered if I had contact information the fellow who wrote the Harriet Tubman song. My info was old, but it was charming that the website connected me one last time to someone who could use information or connection.
